This collection contains material relating to the inauguration and resignation of President Weaver, including a tape of his resignation statement and the press conference. There are also folders containing biographical sketches of Weaver and his wife, Ruberta Harwell Weaver. The bulk of material consists of news releases and speeches given by Weaver during his tenure as President of the University. Also contains a small group of memos and correspondence concerning the Office of Public Information and news releases.
